Content: This book analyzes a broad variety of compliance issues. In particular, methods of money laundering, terrorism financing, bribery, unfair competition and circumventing sanctions are discussed. Both prevention and criminal perspectives are taken into account. The identification of gaps in existing prevention mechanisms is meant to provide compliance officers, law enforcement agencies and legislators with valuable insights into how criminals operate. Those insights are then used to elaborate effective compliance mechanisms. Students and practitioners gain valuable knowledge about how criminals operate and will therefore be able to anticipate and prevent criminal behavior.
